Vale do Douro de Portugal, Iniciativa do Turismo Sustentável
A partnership between National Geographic Society (Sustainable Tourism, Jim Dion) and Estrutura de Missão do Douro (chief: Ricardo Magalhães). Some elements of their starting business model according to the Fugas magazine (http://fugas.publico.pt/) of Feb. 18: total budget of €120,000, 90% of which is paid by EU funds and Turismo Portugal and 10% by Turismo do Douro.
